More Pictures

This one of James and Madalynn I love, she loves to sit with daddy wherever he is!

A Very Fast Month!!!!!

Well here it is another month has gone by and I haven't blogged, well this month has been an active one. I will start off by saying we are very proud of Olivia for how well she did in the Story Telling Festival but she was not chosen out of the Top 3, but she was very excited to be a part of it. The biggest thing you will notice in the our pictures is that Olivia got glasses! She loves that they are purple and we are used to them now but she looked very different for a week or so. James has now been here for 8 days he took his last days of vacation and will most likely find out when he gets back if he will be laid off now or in October. Life has been wonderful with him here we love having him as part of our everyday activities, and easier for me to do all I need to get done. Life for me has been a little stressful, in May I found a lump in my breast and had it checked in Colorado they just felt it and said we feel it is a cyst just have it checked in awhile after you move. So life got busy and I just had it checked a few weeks ago and they were confused why it had moved and was becoming painful. Thru some very confusing conversations and felt like I was getting the run around I did have a needle biopsy and got the results back that it is not cancerous but was told during the biopsy we are sure it is infected. But now again confusing conversations and feeling like I was getting the run around, so I am not sure what my next step is to find out is this really infected or not. Needless to say a little overwhelming and a little scared what if it is cancer even though they feel it is not but still there is a chance. Also this past month or so Girl Scout cookies have consumed our lives, I never knew how much you have to do to get them picked up(because I am the troop leader) sorted for all the girls distribute them, then pass them out collect all the girls money it was a lot of work but well worth it for the money our troop will get.
We spent the weekend up in North Ogden celebrating all the March birthdays in James' family. I can't believe Will is almost 5, it seemed just yesterday he was a baby. He is in the weird smile phase and I feel like this picture is a good one of him. I tried to get some pictures of Madalynn's funky crawl I hope you get the idea, everyone thinks it is so interesting how she does it. I also am posting a picture of Madalynn on the rocking horse here at Grandma & Grandpa's house this was just yesterday and we had a hard time getting her off of it.

Story Telling Festival

Olivia's school has been preparing for a Story Telling Festival here in Utah, they all had to learn a story and recite it in front of the class as part of their grade. So Olivia chose the book Olivia... And The Missing Toy, she has been very cute about learning it and stood up in class last Friday and told her story I was very proud and she did very well. I had a meeting with her teacher today and she told me Olivia had been chosen as 1 of the top 3 in the class. Tomorrow she and the 2 others will tell their story to the 2nd grade teachers and they will decide who the winner will be. The winner then gets to tell their story at an assembly in front of the whole school. She told James today " The teacher said whoever is the winner if they don't want to say it in front of the school that is OK but if it is me I am going to do it!" She is so happy and I am very proud because she is usually so shy.

CRAZY WEEKS!!!

So we have had the craziest weeks ever, I feel like somedays we are constantly running. James comes home tomarrow and I am looking forward to a non stressful weekend with him. His last trip home was the weekend we have known would come sometime. He flew in on a Wed. evening it just happened to be the night it snowed so hard it basically shut down the freeway. It took Heather 5 hours to get home from work and it took me 2 hours to go what totaled about 4-5 miles. Needless to say it was impossible to get James from the airport so he spent the night. I was feeling guilty that I was in a comfortable bed and he was sitting in the airport I didn't sleep hardly at all and went at 4am and picked him up the roads were horrible again one of the scariest things I have had to do. After that we had a good weekend, then on Sunday I dropped him off at the airport and started home then got a call from Delta your flight today has been canceled. I then turned around and went and got him, we had him for a few more hours but had to call in sick to work for a few hours. Things can get stressful with travel! Life keeps us busy Olivia and Will have started reading tutoring at the library (its free!) Madalynn is now 17 months and keeps me on my toes she is doing better with standing up and cruising, hopefully walking will come soon! I have started water aerobics every morning at 6am and I love starting my day that way, I can already tell a difference in the fit of my clothes. We are doing good except for being in limbo with James job we just wish we had a clue as to what is going on, it is hard to have to go thru this for the 2nd time in a year.

You Can Count On Me!

Yesterday Will, Madalynn, and I went to the mall and we went into a shoe store and there was a bench running down the middle of the store with the shoes on either side. I told Will he could sit in the middle if he wanted, he said he would like to so I pushed Madalynn in the stroller right next to him and said "Can you watch her for me while I look at shoes?" (Mind you that the store was very small and I had them in sight the whole time) And he said "You can count on me mom" I just chuckled a little at the cute phrases kids come up with but there was a woman standing next to me that said " Is that not the cutest thing how sweet of him that makes me want to cry, he is so good." It made me feel very good to have a son who is good and keeps me smiling and on my toes!

January Is Already Gone???

Well as you can see I have gotten behind on blogging again, I need to get used to writing on here even if I don't have pictures. Well James just left this morning after being here for 10 days, he took some vacation days and it was wonderful to have him here for so long. The kids loved having him here and were sad to see him go back to California. We had a big snow storm this morning and we had to get James to the airport, it was one of the scariest things I have ever had to do. Luckily he drove up there but I had to drive home and it was awful. But he got home with no delays and I was able to get home with no problems so we are thankful for that. Well we are excited to be able to have a service up here that is willing to have a physical therapist come out and help Madalynn with her gross motor skills, she is just starting to pull herself up to stand and by this time most kids are walking so we are lucky to have people be able to come out and help us with that. Olivia is now in Girl Scouts she is a brownie and I am her troop leader. We just started this and it is fun, we just ended selling cookies and that was very exciting. Will is doing really good, we are starting him this week in a program that will help him learn and get ready for kindergarten next year. Will and Olivia love to play the Wii whenever possible and I have posted pictures of him and Grandpa playing bowling together. This picture I have posted is of Madalynn with Will at James' parents house over christmas and it makes me smile Madalynn has started singing and dancing whenever music comes on and she was so loud in church today a lot of people were smiling at her it was very funny. She loved the piano with Will. Olivia is also doing very well on her bike but it has been so snowy it has made it hard to practice riding her bike!

It Has Been Awhile...........

Well life gets so busy I've been negligent on doing this blog. Well let me catch you up:

We started off with our ward activity where the kids saw Santa Claus as you will see Madalynn did not like Santa. Aunt Heather was very good and had the kids help make sugar cookies and then we took them to their primary teachers. The kids loved it! Christmas was good, we went to North Ogden for the days before Christmas and the morning of and the kids had a blast, they made a snowman with Grandpa and Daddy and loved it. Olivia got a bike from Santa and Will got a scooter(it has been so snowy they haven't gotten to ride them very much) . Christmas afternoon we drove back to Lehi and spent the rest of the day there and had a great time, we got to spend the next few days there and then James flew back on Sat. the 29th. Everyone in the family left that day to go to CA, and James flew back later that week and we had some days just our family and it was very nice to have quality time with our family. Madalynn keeps getting bigger and getting more of a personality. She loves her Aunt Heather and Grandma very much she chooses them over Mommy, but when Daddy is here she will go to him no matter what she is definitely a daddy's girl. Olivia is becoming so grown up she is a wonderful helper with Madalynn, and with helping around the house. She loves going to school and playing with friends. Will is our active little one, he loves to be moving and playing. He loves his sisters and can't wait for Olivia to come home from school to play with him. Here are some pictures of our past months. My pictures got all messed up and they are not in any order! The one of Madalynn with the phone is today and it was too cute she was saying what sounded like "Hello" it was very fun to see.
