As Each section of the house gets put together I will post pictures, I have a little more time now and I am excited to keep up better with my blog. We are getting settled a little more with each week and this is our first area done not a lot but I love it. This is the floral arrangement that a lady who is a designer at Roberts made for me before I moved, and I love it!
This is the sofa table all decorated and I love this spot for it!
This next picture is a very cute frame that my best friend Tish gave to me as we were about to drive out for our move. I love it and I have already hung it but I need to get our picture in it, then I will post the picture of that section of the house.
We are doing good the kids love school and are doing wonderful! We are enjoying getting to know the new area(minus hitting a shopping cart in the middle of the freeway and causing almost $3000 worth of damage to our SUV) James' job is going very good and got a wonderful review from his boss yesterday, so things are going great for us. The only thing that would make life wonderful would be a bed! We just got couches delivered today(pictures to come) we were able to get a set of couches for a steal from a presidents day sale. We now just need a bed and chairs for our kitchen table and we are set. Other than that we are chugging along and Madalynn and I have a great time together all day while everyone is at work and school, I love my time with her!

Rad Kids!
Olivia was in a A program at school called Rad Kids and it taught stranger safety along with other safety issues. Tonight was the night that family could come and see what they had learned this was the final part of their presentation. Olivia fought hard and did great! Sorry it is sideways not sure how to turn it.

My New Creative Outlet!
I am so excited about this new way(to me) to scrapbook! I have been busy trying to get caught up on past years that I have gotten behind on. I love the freedom of not having to pull out all of my supplies so that I could scrapbook, all I have to do is get my idea books and my laptop and I can go anywhere and create! Currently I am working on the year 2008 so I have some catching up to do. Here are 2 of the pages I just finished as I am trying to get 2008 all done. I am excited that you can do just as much with digital scrap booking as you can do with regular you just have to experiment a little with it.
This is one of my favorite pages with the digital program. I also love how pretty her eyes are.
This was when we first moved to Oregon and the kids with our help built a fort, it was a fun page to do.

Finally It Is Done!!
Since moving here I have felt like I never have anything organized. So I decided I wanted a board to organize everything on. So it took a week or so for me to find the right board I started with a dry erase board but my friend suggested a metal board and I loved the idea. So I went in search and found one at Roberts Crafts and was able to use a 50% off coupon so I was very excited. Next came the challenge of finding the right material and ribbon for the board and the search for that started. After another week of searching I finally decided on a table runner again at Roberts and I was able again to use a 50% coupon. So loving how this was coming together my friend Kay helped me put it all together and to get it painted. It took awhile but it is done and I love it!!!!
Here is the whole board and I am so happy with how it turned out.
Here is the first section where the calendar goes, and I am happy to be getting organized again.
Here is the center section where I will put snapshots we get. The bottom where the names are I will write jobs or things each child needs to do. I can use a dry erase marker on the metal.
The last section is for papers and such that I can stick on with a magnet that I need to keep so I don't forget things.
